We had a successful turn out for the 2012 Dr. Seuss Birthday Party! We had just over 80 children and parents attend. Some of the activities were making finger puppets, bookmarkers, and Lorax hats. We had a Lorax cake designed by Chirstina Lujan from Isleta. The Cat In The Hat made an appearance and took pictures with the kids. We had a costume contest and all participants took home a prize. We also handed out Green Eggs and Ham literacy bags with activities for families to do with their kids. Thanks to everyone who came to help celebrate Dr. Suess’ Birthday!
